Hitotsubashi University and National Taipei University held the 6th Business Research Joint Workshop.

 On January 23, 2024, researchers in the field of accounting from Hitotsubashi University and National Taipei University gathered for the 6th Business Research Joint Workshop at Sano Shoin Hall, Kunitachi Campus. It was the first time in four years that the meeting was held face-to-face due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection for the past three years.

 The workshop was divided into two sessions. First, each faculty member from both schools and their respective research interests were introduced, followed by an exchange of views on the internationalization of educational programs and research, as well as research trends related to ESG. The session then evolved into a question-and-answer session, which was unique to both schools, as they hold AACSB international accreditation. In the next session, two research presentations were given and followed by lively discussions.

 From Hitotsubashi University, 17 people, including Prof. Hironori Fukukawa, Deen, School of Business Administration, Prof. Makoto Nakano, who has led past workshops, and graduate students, attended the workshop. From National Taipei University, 13 people, including Prof. Kuei Hui Cheng, Chair, Department of Accountancy, Prof. Hsuan-Lien Chu, graduate students, and related parties, attended the workshop, bringing the total number of participants to 30.

 The School of Business Administration plans to further internationalize its research activities while deepening cooperation with overseas universities in the future.
