Guest Editorship of a Special Issue in an International Journal

An international academic journal, the Journal of Foodservice Business Research, is organizing a Special Issue titled "Beverage Experience and Tourism in the Asia Pacific: A Consumer Focus", with Dr. Marco W.W. Nutta (Assistant Professor, Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS)) serving as a Guest Editor.

The Special Issue is led by Dr. Nutta, with Dr. Hiromi Kamata (Professor, School of Business Administration) participating as a Co-Guest Editor. This Special Issue represents the first guest editorship experience for both editors. They are jointly engaged in developing the theme, organizing the call for papers, and coordinating the peer-review process.

The international research exchange and editorial experience gained through this initiative are expected to contribute not only to future research activities but also to education and research supervision at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

As Guest Editors, Dr. Hiromi Kamata and I hope this Special Issue becomes a platform for open academic exchange across disciplines and regions, deepening our understanding of beverage experiences and tourism in the Asia Pacific from a consumer perspective. Our aim is to encourage research that combines strong theoretical insight with practical relevance, connecting academic knowledge to education, industry practice, and evolving industry contexts.
